New Feature

Conversion attribution enhancements for In-app and web messages

Exciting News!

We're thrilled to announce upcoming enhancements to our onsite channel campaigns will gradually start rolling out to our clients from April 9th onwards. These improvements are tailored to give our marketers greater control, accuracy, and efficiency in their campaigns.

1. Configurable Conversion Window:

  • Tailor conversion windows for in-app and web message campaigns to achieve more precise campaign analysis.
  • Track revenue parameters alongside conversion events for deeper financial insights.
  • Conversions and Revenue columns will be added to the unified onsite campaign listing for comprehensive performance monitoring.

2. Click-Based Conversion Tracking:

  • Say goodbye to view-based tracking limitations! Transitioning to click-based logic ensures more accurate attribution, crediting conversions to the last-click channel.

Use Case:

Imagine you're launching a web message campaign for a new product. You want to track if users perform a specific action (like a product purchase) within 7 days after clicking on the web message. Now, with customizable conversion windows, you can set this timeframe according to your needs.

For instance, if a user clicks on an email, then clicks on your web message, and makes a purchase, the conversion will be attributed to the web message campaign. However, if the user only views the web message without clicking and makes a purchase later within the email campaign's conversion window, the conversion will be attributed to the email campaign.

This last-click attribution model ensures accurate tracking of campaign effectiveness.

What's the Impact?

  • Ongoing Web message and In-app message campaigns enabled with ‘Control Group' with non-zero percentage will be auto-stopped (moved to ‘Completed’ status) to prevent conversion count data loss.
  • You'll receive specific communication about stopped campaigns, and we kindly request your cooperation in recreating and publishing them to align with the new logic.
