We have rolled out a key update to how engagement metrics are calculated across the platform, switching the denominator from Sent to Delivered. This aligns Netcore with industry best practices, ensuring more accurate reporting.
What’s Changing?
Starting June 6, 2025 (Indian IDC & next week for all IDCs), the following metrics will now use Delivered count instead of Sent count as the base:
Open Rate
Click Rate
Conversion Rate
Unsubscribed Rate (Also includes Forwarded Rate on Email Performance pages)
These updates reflect across:
Journeys
Campaigns
Engagement dashboards
Panel UI & Summary CSV reports
Why It Matters:
Industry Alignment: Brings our engagement metrics in line with standard practices
More Accurate Rates: Opens, clicks, and conversions may show a slight increase, as delivered count excludes bounces and failed messages.
Historical Consistency: The new formula will apply to all past data on the UI, and summary report downloads post-release will reflect the updated metrics.
