It has been a constant endeavour at Meta to enhance customer experience, provide high-quality messaging services to support for businesses, and to enable that Meta has broken the WhatsApp business-initiated messages template into 3 broad categories - MARKETING, UTILITY, AUTHENTICATION and SERVICE.
AUTHENTICATION - Won't be released in INDIA.
Effective 1st, April all messages have to follow these new templates categories. The session pricing will also be determined by these new templates categories.
While businesses get used to these new category templates, WhatsApp is also revising its pricing effective 1st June, 2023. We understand that you would have several queries in reference to the revised pricing, new categories & templates that might impact your business, assuring you that we will do everything possible to help you transition smoothly.
