Test What Wins: A/B & Split Testing for In-App Messages

Until now, an In-App campaign meant picking one message and hoping it landed. You can now create A/B and Split In-App campaigns, running multiple message variants side by side and letting the data decide what your audience sees.

What’s New

  •  Launch up to 5 variants in one campaign, and either let Netcore declare a winner automatically or run a controlled, fixed-split test for as long as you need.

  • Set Winning Criteria for A/B campaigns (Clicks or Conversions) ; so Netcore knows which metric decides the winner.

  • Control the test window (1–23 hours or 1–30 days) for A/B campaigns; in a tie, Netcore selects the winner at random.

  • Get built-in reporting: Summary and Detailed Reports now break out Campaign Type (Regular/A/B/Split) and Message Type (Control Group/Variant/Winner) so you can analyze variant performance directly.

Why it matters

  • Every In-App send is a chance to learn what resonate; but only if you can compare options instead of committing to one.

  • A/B and Split campaigns turn each send into a test, so you stop guessing at copy, creative, or offers and start letting real audience behavior pick the winner, automatically rolling it out to everyone else.

Prerequisites:

  • Ensure to update your app with latest SDK versions - Android 3.8.5 and iOS 3.8.3 - to enable AB & split campaign rendering for your users.

  • Only templates built in Unified Content Editor (UCE) or Custom HTML are supported

Navigate to Campaigns > In-App Messages > Create Campaign to launch your first A/B or Split test.
