Improved Control Over Journey Repeat Frequency

  • We have introduced additional repeat frequency options for Activity Trigger and Segment/List Trigger in journeys, providing better control over user re-entry.

    New Repeat Frequency Options for Activity Trigger:

    • Every Day – Triggers the journey once per day if the specified event occurs for a given user. Multiple occurrences in a day will be considered only once.

    • Every Week – Triggers the journey once per rolling seven-day period. For example, if the user enters a journey on a Wednesday, such a user will re-enter only on the next Wednesday.

    • Every Month – Triggers the journey once per rolling 30-day window.

    • Once Every Specific Duration – Allows setting a custom interval (days/weeks/months) for triggering the journey. E.g. Allow user to re-enter the journey every 2nd day.

    • Skip User If Already in Journey – Ensures a user enters the journey only if they are not currently in it (i.e., waiting in a wait node or delay node).

    New Option for Segment/List Trigger:

    • Once Every Specific Duration – Allows defining a custom interval (days/weeks/months) for triggering the journey.

  • These enhancements provide greater flexibility and control over journey re-entry, improving efficiency.
