Important update on Spam rate from Google

Dear Customer, Greetings from Netcore !!

Google frequently posts updates about its services, including Gmail, on the Google Updates Blog. One such recent update which is coming into effect beginning June 2024 is about keeping the spam rate below 0.1% and preventing it from reaching 0.3% or higher. Beginning June 2024, bulk senders with user-reported spam rate greater than 0.3% will not be eligible for Mitigation.

What is Mitigation?

Mitigations are used to temporarily disable the enforcement signals responsible for undesirable spam classification. Upon expiration of the mitigations, the sending domain should be in good standing to send without further assistance contingent on senders following best practices.

Spam rates and other important data points are calculated & updated daily in Google Postmaster tools.

Bulk senders will be eligible for mitigation if the spam rates remain below 0.3% for 7 consecutive days.

How and where can a sender monitor the important data points like the Spam Rate? Below mentioned is the Google Postmaster link which will help you monitor Spam rate and other important data points.
