We’re excited to launch Path Optimizer, a new AI-powered experimentation node in Journey Builder that intelligently routes users to the best-performing branch in real time. Instead of relying on manual A/B testing, Path Optimizer tracks performance based on your selected success metric—Clicks or Conversions—and automatically adjusts traffic to favor the variant delivering better results in real-time.

You can configure up to five branches, select your metric, and let the optimizer do the rest. It ensures each branch is valid before publishing and resets stats if the journey is redeployed.

Common use cases include testing WhatsApp vs. Email for cart recovery in e-commerce, testing the flow by starting with Push Notification and then move to Email or do the opposite for loan offers in BFSI, or optimizing reminder timing in EdTech journeys. Once live, you’ll see real-time insights on the journey canvas—including distribution of users, performance by variant, and a highlight of the top-performing path.

To use it, go to Journey Builder > Conditions, drag in the Path Optimizer node, and set up your variants. For help, refer to our documentation or reach out to us for a walkthrough.

Note: Path Optimizer node is in beta phase & a configurable feature at present. Reach out to us to enable it for your panel.
