Hosting Fallback as an AMP in Browser✅
We are excited to announce a significant enhancement in our AMP email capabilities with the introduction of Hosting Fallback as an AMP in the browser.
This release streamlines the process for form-based use cases, providing a more cohesive experience for both brands and end-users.
Enhancement Overview:
Currently, form-based use cases require a separate configuration for the URL of the fallback HTML (commonly used for Google Forms). This results in responses being captured in two different Google Sheets – one from the AMP email and another from the fallback. With this release, we are consolidating responses into a single destination, the Google Sheet linked from the form setup.
Key Benefits:
Efficiency for Brands:
- Eliminates the need for configuring a separate URL for the fallback HTML.
- Responses to the fallback are now collated in one consolidated Google Sheet.
- Saves effort and streamlines the setup process for brands.
Consistent End-User Experience:
- End-users will experience AMP HTML directly in the browser, ensuring a consistent email experience.
- Enhances user engagement and interaction with email content.
Usage Instructions:
To access this feature, follow these steps in the AMP editor:
- Add a form to your AMP email.
- Under the Fallback section, check the box for "Load Fallback as AMP in browser."
If you choose not to check the box, you will need to manually add a URL for the fallback.
Important Note:
- In order to access the feature, upgrade to the latest link tracking module (version V3).
- If you encounter any issues accessing the feature, please reach out to your account manager/[email protected] for assistance.
We believe that this enhancement will significantly improve the workflow for brands while providing a more seamless and consistent experience for end-users. As we continue to innovate, your feedback is invaluable. Thank you for choosing our AMP email platform, and we look forward to bringing you more enhancements in the future.
Stay AMPed!
